You will receive one CPE per hour of actual contact time, excluding breaks, lunches, etc. A normal conference schedule will have 6 or 7 contact hours per day. Include all events that facilitate interaction and networking (even if food is served). A maximum quantity of 40 hours may be claimed for any one conference. Claiming CPE for presenting the same material more than once is not allowed. Authoring a presentation should be claimed for CPE as a separate journal item. Attending sessions at a conference should be claimed for CPE credits as a separate journal item. A maximum quantity of 2 hours may be claimed for any one presentation. You should claim longer presentations as a course/seminar/tutorial. A maximum quantity of 2 hours may be claimed for any one presentation.
